Air Freight Surcharges & Fuel Prices

Similar to diesel fuel costs, US jet fuel prices and related costs change often. The pricing fluctuations have industry-wide effects and necessitate shipment surcharges in accordance with market prices.

Power Freight's air transportation surcharges are comprised of both fuel and security charges. The fuel surcharges are based upon the US Gulf Coast Spot Price for jet fuel, as provided by the US Department of Energy.
